OUR STORY
A Multicultural Church
in the Heart of Sydney
Emmanuel Evangelical Church in Sydney was established with a passion to see people brought close to the source of all life and hope, JESUS. We are a vibrant, multicultural congregation that gathers throughout the week for worship, Bible study, prayer, and fellowship.
Our church serves the Ethiopian and broader community in Western Sydney, offering services in Amharic and English. We believe in the transformative power of the Gospel and are committed to discipleship, community outreach, and raising the next generation in faith.
Under the leadership of the current elders, our church has grown into a thriving community of believers dedicated to living out the Great Commission.
What We Believe
Our faith is rooted in the Holy Scriptures and the historic Christian faith.
The Bible
We believe the Bible is the inspired, infallible Word of God and the supreme authority for faith and life.
Salvation
We believe salvation is by grace through faith in Jesus Christ alone, who died for our sins and rose again.
The Church
We believe the Church is the body of Christ, called to worship, fellowship, discipleship, and mission.
The Great Commission
We are called to make disciples of all nations, baptizing them and teaching them to obey all that Christ commanded.
